Caro Collega was founded by Giancarlo De Leonardo, a former restaurateur and hotelier with over 20 years in the industry. From that experience grew a Digital Dream Team of specialists focused exclusively on restaurants and hotels.

Giancarlo De Leonardo
Giancarlo De Leonardo is the founder of Caro Collega. Born in 1968, with a degree in Economics and Business (marketing), he spent over twenty years on the other side of the counter: first co-owner and founder of venues in Italy, then a digital entrepreneur in travel, and finally General Manager of a resort in Sardinia. The Caro Collega Method was born there — from someone who has actually run the shifts, the covers and the rooms.

In 2017, after his time as General Manager, he made the decision that gave rise to Caro Collega: to help restaurateurs and hoteliers seize the opportunity of digital — and today of artificial intelligence — with the hands-on pragmatism of someone who knows the trade from the inside. As President of the Innovation Bridge Foundation he speaks at events on the culture of technological innovation and AI, and brings that research into the daily work of the digital dream team.
His signature is on every client project: the initial audits that assess eligibility to the Method, the strategic supervision of every active project, and the selection of the digital dream team specialists who follow each venue.
